Giannis and Bam Adebayo begin training together! They watched a WNBA game together, but Miami's championship prospects are considered uncertain.

As of June 25 in Beijing time, Giannis's trade hasn't been officially completed, but the superstar can't wait to start connecting with his new teammate Bam Adebayo. They watched a WNBA game together and have already begun practicing as a duo.

Local Las Vegas media shared images of the two working out together in the arena. Even though the trade hasn't been officially announced, it's obvious that both players are eager to start meshing early, getting ready for the title pursuit in the upcoming season.

Earlier, on Tuesday evening local time, the pair appeared together in Las Vegas to watch a WNBA game live. Adebayo's girlfriend, A'ja Wilson, is the star player of the Las Vegas Aces. They sat courtside side by side. The arena's big screen showed a shot of Giannis with a caption that read: "Giannis Antetokounmpo, two-time NBA MVP, new addition to the Miami Heat."

According to league regulations, the 2026-27 salary cap period does not officially begin until July 7. Before that date, neither the Heat nor the Bucks can make any public comments regarding this trade.

Analyst Kendrick Perkins is not optimistic about the Heat's title chances. He believes the current lineup reveals many issues, while Giannis himself is also facing increasing scrutiny from the public. Perkins stated that Giannis's behavior during his final season with the Bucks already made team affairs complicated, and the growing number of injuries along with his advancing age will further highlight the weaknesses in his playing style.

"If you make Giannis the primary offensive option, he will never win a championship. I'll say it again: Giannis Antetokounmpo, as long as he remains the team's leading scorer, he won't win another title," Perkins commented.
