Brown Ranks the Top Five NBA Players of All Time: New Teammate James Included, Curry Replaced by Abdul-Jabbar

In a video released by the 76ers on August 12, Beijing time, Brown was asked to name his personal NBA Mount Rushmore. Every fan has their own picks, and the newly acquired forward, who is about to start his 76ers career, naturally shared his thoughts.

As is well known, Mount Rushmore originally has only four statues, but Brown expanded the criteria and listed five players: Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Celtics icon Bill Russell, Bulls legend Michael Jordan, and his new 76ers teammate LeBron James.

Interestingly, just six months ago, Brown was also asked about his top five players, and his answer then was slightly different. The unchanged four are James, Jordan, Kobe, and Russell. However, six months ago, Brown also mentioned Curry, but now he has replaced Curry with Abdul-Jabbar.

At 29 years old, Brown is embarking on a new chapter in his career. Previously, the Celtics made a shocking trade, sending him to the "City of Brotherly Love," Philadelphia, in exchange for a package that included Paul George.

During his tenure with the Celtics, Brown played in a total of 674 regular-season games, averaging 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 47.8% and a three-point percentage of 35.8%.

In the 2016 NBA Draft, the Celtics selected Brown with the third overall pick in the first round. Although the former Finals MVP has left Boston, he still has an excellent opportunity to compete for a championship. In Philadelphia, he will play alongside James, Embiid, Maxey, and rising star McCollum.

The 76ers hope that this trade will ultimately bring them the highest honor in the league—the NBA championship. The 76ers have won the NBA championship only three times in franchise history, with the most recent coming in 1983.
