Hello everyone, I'm Game Xiaodi.
In recent months, the pace of skin releases in Honor of Kings has slowed down noticeably. For instance, throughout May, except for the Nezha 2 collaboration skin for the 55 Friends Day event, only a few Epic skins were launched. And from June to now, there hasn't been a single new skin, leaving many players somewhat disappointed. But in fact, the game currently has as many as nine skins already confirmed in its plans. Let's take stock of these "skin debts" that Honor of Kings owes.

This series has the largest number of skins outstanding, all of them Legendary. There are still the FMVP skins for Great Arbiter chosen by Zhong Yi, for Goya chosen by Yi Nuo, for Kai chosen by Nuan Yang, and for Zhong Kui chosen by Yi Sheng. Originally, the release frequency of FMVP skins was relatively fixed, but in recent years, for unknown reasons, the release schedule has become irregular and often delayed. Meanwhile, the KPL tournaments continue on a fixed schedule, causing these skins to pile up. The developers are still gradually releasing them, but currently, there are four waiting to be launched.

This series has been more consistent; originally one skin per year, now it's two per year. Typically, around the time a new skin is released, the next one is soon confirmed. Earlier this year, we saw the launch of Milady's "Celestial Porcelain Chirp" and Liu Shan's "Super Night Owl". Now, two new Yuan Meng skins have been confirmed: Sima Zheng's "Evil Suppression" and Taiyi Zhenren's "Nightmare Scavenger". Counting these two unreleased ones, the Yuan Meng series has now reached 11 skins and is growing bigger.

Last year, Honor of Kings held a vote among 28 heroes to decide who would get Legendary skins. Originally, only the hero with the most votes was to receive one, but later the quota was expanded to three. In the end, Cang, A-Ke, and Milady won the slots. Now, halfway through 2026, only A-Ke's Legendary skin, "Rakshasa's Vast Sea," has been released. Cang and Milady's skins are still nowhere to be seen. The second half of the year needs to step up the pace.

Generally, each new hero receives an Epic-quality skin about three months after their release. However, Da Yu, the new hero from last season, has been out for about five months now, yet his Epic skin is still missing. It's unclear when it will be launched. Fortunately, this season's new hero is the Yuan Liu Zi assassin, and Yuan Liu Zi characters don't need such Epic skins. Otherwise, Honor of Kings would be owing two skins.

Apart from these relatively confirmed ones, there are also a few more:
For example, after the Kai animated series last year, Honor of Kings announced animated series for Marco Polo and Luban No.7. Following the pattern of the previous animations, there should normally be associated skins. But of course, those animations haven't materialized yet either.
Another example: at the recent Tencent Game Conference, the developers clearly stated their skin plans, including continued collaboration with Yuewen Group. Past examples include the "Fox Demon Matchmaker" and "Lord of the Mysteries" crossovers. Besides these, a new collaboration was announced called "World Wonders," which seems to involve skins themed around famous landmarks.

Looking at all this, Honor of Kings really has quite a lot of skins in the pipeline. So which ones are you most looking forward to?
