Ma Chao's true potential lies in judging the right timing to engage. His core mechanic is the enhanced basic attack after picking up a spear—each pickup triggers a thrust with displacement. Combined with his ultimate, he can unleash multiple hits in succession, giving him plenty of room for outplays. As long as you pre-plan your entry and retreat routes, spear landing points, enemy skill cooldowns, and your teammates' crowd control chain, while adding a bit of flexible adaptation to changing situations, you can achieve great results.

Another factor that significantly boosts Ma Chao's potential is the summoner spell. The damage Ma Chao deals depends on his movement speed, so the Sprint spell greatly amplifies him—it not only increases damage but also enhances his mobility, making him more versatile and able to calmly handle unexpected scenarios.

Guan Yu

Guan Yu's potential lies not in solo kills or laning, but in his ability to reshape the battlefield. A skilled Guan Yu clears the wave and disappears from the map, only to reappear behind your mid-lane tower. Every swing in his galloping state forces displacement—pushing the enemy carry out of safety or cutting off the retreat of low-health targets. This ability to "control teamfight positioning" is almost unmatched in Honor of Kings.

Yuange

In my opinion, Yuange is the hero with the highest potential in Honor of Kings, hands down. The reason is his absurd mimicry ability. Despite many restrictions, in theory he can transform into any enemy hero. Just think—every different hero added to the game brings huge changes to team composition and the flow of battle.

Here's a simple example: Suppose the enemy team has Jiang Ziya, who is at level 14 and about to reach 15 to gain the deification ability. Yuange has already collected 50 fragments of Jiang Ziya, transforms into him, reaches level 15, and grants the deification to himself or a teammate. At that point, Jiang Ziya's role and advantage are completely neutralized. This isn't just speculation—players have actually accomplished it. And this is merely one display of Yuange's potential.
