Hello everyone, this is Game Xiao Di.
With the launch of Honor of Kings Chess, the game is giving away 1000 limited-time vouchers. Many players have already collected a good amount, but quite a few are struggling to decide what to exchange for, since this amount is relatively small and not enough for multiple items. So in this post, Xiao Di will introduce three options for your reference.

The first option is the most straightforward: spend all vouchers on skins. I recommend taking Liu Bei's Chief Superintendent of the Netherworld plus any 288 limited-time voucher skin. Liu Bei's skin is of epic quality, and 710 limited-time vouchers can exchange for a premium bundle containing the skin and a custom button. After that, you'll have 290 vouchers left, which is just enough to exchange for another 288-limited-time voucher skin. That means you get two skins from one event, which is the biggest advantage of this plan.

Why recommend Liu Bei's skin first? There are three main reasons. First, Liu Bei currently has no high-quality free skins; the only ones you can get for free are of hero quality, like The Godfather and Everything Goes Well, so exchanging for this epic skin is a no-brainer. Second, Liu Bei's strength is decent right now, especially since he was recently reworked, making him even stronger than before. You can actually use him in matches instead of letting the skin sit in your inventory. Third, based on previous limited-time voucher events that featured skins like Taiyi and Xi Shi, no one can say for sure whether these skins will return for free again. If you really like it, it's best to grab it now.
The second approach is to skip skins and exchange all vouchers for items. There are two combinations: one is 10 Premium Draw vouchers plus 40 skin fragments, and the other is simply 100 skin fragments. The Premium Draw vouchers have an exchange limit in this shop—at most 10 vouchers. If you add the 5 vouchers from downloading and registering Honor of Kings Chess, you'll have 15 total, which is enough to try your luck at the Premium Draw for a Glory Crystal. If fortune smiles, you'll get a limited-edition skin. Of course, the pity timer is 361 draws, so these 15 are just for fun. After that, you'll still have 400 limited-time vouchers, which can be exchanged for 40 skin fragments.

The other option is to exchange all for 100 skin fragments. The reason is simple: the pace of adding new skins to the fragment shop has significantly accelerated. Almost every month there's at least one hero-quality skin, and occasionally epic skins, so the value of skin fragments is rising. By stockpiling fragments, you can directly exchange for a skin you like when it appears later.
For example, in the current skin fragment shop, skins like Gongsun Li's Cooking Rongrong or Jin Chan's Compassionate Zen Heart are worth considering. This is the time to use those fragments you've been saving up gradually.
The third option is to top up for a legendary skin, aiming for the highest quality. After using the 1000 limited-time vouchers in the shop, you'll still need to pay 688 vouchers of your own. That's roughly 40% off for a legendary skin, which is lower than the usual 50% discount you see in the game—a very low price point.

However, the eight legendary skins available this time are: Wu Zetian's Ocean Heart, Da Mo's Golden Lion Zodiac, Miyamoto Musashi's Hell's Eye, Sun Wukong's Hellfire, Hou Yi's Golden Archer Zodiac, Hua Mulan's Champion Flying General, Meng Qi's Panda Rong Rong, and Zhang Liang's Golden Aries Zodiac. These are all older skins, and many of them have chances to be obtained for free during the Spring Festival events each year. In other words, if you top up 688 vouchers now, you might later see others getting them for free—a bit of a letdown.
So, which option are you leaning toward?
That's all for today. If you found this helpful, feel free to give a like and support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I'll read them all!
