Hello everyone, I'm Game Xiaodi.
When it comes to Honor of Kings Chess, the most unique player is undoubtedly Xiangxiang. She can directly attack heroes on the board, almost like the "head coach playing on the field." This is exactly why Xiangxiang has become a headache for many players. In a recent official response, this issue was mentioned, but currently there are no plans to nerf her. So how do you counter her? In this issue, Xiaodi introduces a specific strategy.

Let me briefly explain this strategy: gather most of the heroes in Honor of Kings Chess that can summon minions to form a summoner lineup. Specifically, it includes Meng Tian, Milady, Cang, and Luban Master, with the core being the "Zhuolu" (Contest) theme.
Why does this counter Xiangxiang? Because Xiangxiang's attack duration is limited—she stops attacking after a certain period. This lineup uses summoned minions to consume Xiangxiang's attack time. This is especially effective against laser-mode Xiangxiang, as she attacks a single target. If she's in artillery mode, as long as your summoned minions' levels are high enough, it still works fine.

Moreover, Meng Tian himself has high durability. So even if Xiangxiang targets him, he can withstand her attacks pretty well.
It's recommended to choose Director Jiang as the chess player, as he fits this lineup well. Most heroes in this set are low-cost cards. Before level 3, try to grab Meng Tian, Milady, Xi Shi, Cang, and Mi Yue. Awaken them if possible, then level up and pick up Meng Ya and Luban Master.

Meng Tian is the main core—prioritize giving him tank items. Use Director Jiang's skill on him as well. Milady also provides summoned minions and can temporarily increase their levels. Cang summons wolf spirits and increases physical damage when minions die. Luban Master can summon a mechanical puppet with a higher level, serving as extra damage output.
Mi Yue mainly boosts Meng Tian's level through card effects. Xi Shi provides the "Deduction" tactic, which must be applied to Meng Tian to trigger Mi Yue's effect, increasing his level while also reducing his mana cap. Meng Ya provides the "Training" tactic to increase Meng Tian's level and also triggers Mi Yue's effect for an extra level boost. Alternatively, Meng Ya can be replaced with Bai Qi for a similar effect—instead of level increase, he provides a shield. It's a matter of personal preference.

For talents, prioritize the "Zhuolu" (Contest) effect. No special requirements for others—just pick whatever you want normally. If you come across the card "Mechanical Secret Code," consider grabbing it. It can be used to summon two "Malfunctioning Robots" from the "Mechanical Box." Let's count how many summoned minions this lineup can produce.

First, Meng Tian at level 100 can summon 4 soldiers, Milady at level 100 can summon 4 mechanical servants, Mi Yue at level 40 can summon 5 shadow servants, Luban Master can summon 1 mechanical puppet, Cang can summon 3 wolf spirits, plus the two Malfunctioning Robots from the Mechanical Box—that's 19 summoned minions in total. Their levels are also quite high in the late game. And these aren't one-time-only; as long as their mana bars are filled, they can resummon. That's the terrifying aspect of this lineup.
