Hello everyone, LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Hui.
LPL is about to start its 15th-anniversary celebration today, including the loser bracket final and the grand final. In the meantime, the boss of Last Xuan Shen revealed a bombshell: five major LPL commentators have been banned.

Many LPL commentators have been banned.
Last Xuan's boss Le Fu revealed during a livestream that on September 12, anyone could broadcast on secondary streams except for these five: Last Xuan Shen, Wayward, Ning Wang, Pyl, and Guan Zeyuan.

This leak officially confirmed the fact that the top official commentator Guan Zeyuan was punished. Previously, he posted a video titled '48 Trash Can' on a short video platform, quickly deleted it and apologized, but still could not escape the official punishment.
Before Guan, Pyl was punished for 'drawing talismans' (a reference to a meme) in his livestream. Guan Zeyuan's case had an even worse impact. Although he claimed it was just a coincidence, he was still banned.

Last Xuan Shen was sued last year for verbally attacking The Shy recklessly and later apologized. This year he struck again, attacking BLG's bottom laner Viper, and ended up being banned once more.
Wayward was already warned once earlier for disrespecting LOL events. Recently, during the LGD vs. IG match, he directly questioned the authenticity of the match, alleging match-fixing, and was banned.

Among these five commentators, four had clear reasons for being banned, but many viewers don't know about Ning Wang's situation.
Ning Wang acted defiantly and got banned.
Ning Wang is the newest banned secondary streamer. The reason is that he went against the officials, explicitly saying he would invite Guan Zeyuan to co-stream the match. When the chat questioned the truth of his words, they said if Guan Zeyuan came, they would directly donate 100.
Ning Wang replied that there was no need for gifts; he would just get some signed photos of Guan Zeyuan for the viewers.

The chat then said that Guan Zeyuan might not be suitable to show his face now. Ning Wang directly retorted: 'What's so inconvenient? Let Guan come. If there's any trouble, just push it onto me. Isn't it just TJ (referring to Tencent or the officials)? They're making a fuss. If they don't like it, they can kill me.'
This statement was not only defiant but also challenged the official bottom line, directly calling out the officials with 'if they don't like it, they can kill me'.

As everyone can see, the officials now tolerate no commentator. Those who dare to provoke the officials will inevitably be punished. Ning Wang's attitude reminds people of the earlier stubbornness of Last Xuan Shen.
It can only be said that these commentators really don't know their place. In short, having the qualification to be a secondary streamer means the officials are giving you a meal. If you recklessly smash your own rice bowl, the officials can naturally take it back at any time.
Unlimited trash-talking will become history.
Many viewers may think that the officials banning so many commentators is a bit too strict.
Here we can analyze based on the severity of the commentators' mistakes. The conclusion is that the officials did the right thing, and there is no case of being overly strict.

The lightest case is Pyl, who was punished first. He drew a talisman implying The Shy's 'zombie' meme, which was too direct. As an official LPL commentator, leading the way in playing with black memes about a player, being punished is deserved.
But it's debatable that the severity of the punishment was indeed a bit high, a bit like 'shooting the bird that sticks its head out' (making an example of the first offender).
After Pyl was punished, there were still many commentators crossing the red line, which is truly unexpected. Xuan Shen was just used to trash-talking, thinking it would be fine as long as he didn't target The Shy. Wayward directly questioned match-fixing. Ning Wang challenged the official bottom line. These all go beyond ordinary trash-talking and deserve punishment.

Meanwhile, other secondary streamers or official commentators clearly understand what should and shouldn't be said, which memes can be used and which cannot.
I believe that with this wave of strict official punishment, unlimited trash-talking among secondary streamers will completely become history.
