Sancho and Onana cause a stir

Jadon Sancho and Andre Onana, two Manchester United stars, had catastrophic displays in their loan spells.

In another development, Jadon Sancho was only introduced for about the final 10 minutes in Aston Villa's dramatic 4-3 victory over Sunderland.

After just returning from injury with a 16-minute substitute appearance in the Europa League match against Bologna, the star born in 2000 made his Premier League comeback. However, Sancho's performance was quite subdued, as he didn't attempt any shots, failed in his only dribble attempt, and didn't create any dangerous passes. His pass accuracy was only 33%.

Additionally, the winger didn't make any tackles and lost all duels, both aerial and ground.

Even worse, he made a mistake near the edge of the box, allowing Trai Hume to surge forward and score for Sunderland. Just one minute later, the star's unsuccessful dribble attempt led to Aston Villa conceding another goal thanks to Wilson Isidor.

Nevertheless, Tammy Abraham's golden goal in stoppage time preserved the three points for the Birmingham-based club, thereby solidifying their firm position in the top four.

Considering the entire season, the contributions of both have not been particularly outstanding as expected. Therefore, the possibility that Sancho and Onana will be placed on Manchester United's clearance list in the upcoming summer transfer window is entirely plausible, especially as the "Red Devils" are entering a squad restructuring process aimed at long-term objectives.
