Real makes crucial decisions regarding the hot seat at Bernabeu

Real Madrid is considering internal personnel adjustments, with notable changes concerning Arbeloa's position in the club's long-term plan for next season.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid is urgently finalizing its personnel structure for the upcoming season. Amid the uncertain future of Álvaro Arbeloa's coaching role, the Royal club still clearly expresses its stance of not wanting him to leave the long-term project.

Sources indicate, “even if Arbeloa does not continue as the first-team coach, he will not be pushed out.” Instead, the leadership is seeking a solution to integrate him into a different role within the system. This is considered a key direction in the summer restructuring plan, where Arbeloa's future will turn to a new chapter rather than completely closing.

In reality, Arbeloa's position has been severely shaken following a series of disappointing outcomes. The team's early exit from European competition and the fading chances in La Liga have seriously weakened his standing. At this moment, only an extraordinary turnaround could salvage the situation, but such a scenario is nearly impossible.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid has not completely turned away. The leadership still highly values Arbeloa's deep understanding of the club's philosophy and his strong connection with the training system. Therefore, instead of dismissal, they prioritize retaining his influence, particularly in behind-the-scenes work – where he has previously left many positive marks.

One of the options being considered is assigning Arbeloa to oversee the youth academy. This is an area where he has clear strengths, having helped many young talents step into the spotlight. Additionally, the club is also considering the possibility of him taking on a bridging role between the dressing room, the leadership, and the new coach, even potentially serving as academy director.

Arbeloa was promoted to the first team after an impressive period at Castilla, where he led the team to compete for promotion. He took over the position after Xabi Alonso was dismissed, carrying expectations to maintain the development momentum. However, reality proved much harsher as the record of 7 defeats in 21 matches did not meet the stringent standards at Bernabéu.

Still, Arbeloa's greatest highlight remains in youth player development. His understanding of the training system has allowed him to provide opportunities for many promising talents. As a turbulent summer approaches, Real Madrid may change on the coaching bench, but for Arbeloa, the door to contribution remains open.
