Hot Vietnamese U23 player speaks candidly about Viettel's chance to win the V-League

Following the 1-0 win against HAGL, defender Phan Tuấn Tài offered significant remarks about Viettel's title chase.

With the three points secured after the victory over HAGL, Viettel now has accumulated 41 points and ranks second on the standings, trailing the top team CAHN by 7 points. The 2001-born player acknowledged that the current phase of the season is decisive, as every match holds the significance of a final. According to Tuấn Tài, the pressure is immense, but it also serves as motivation for the entire team to maintain their utmost focus.

“I believe not just the recent match, but from now until the end of the season, every game will be extremely challenging. We are determined to play with maximum concentration to achieve the best results,” he shared.

Regarding the opportunity to compete for the championship, Tuấn Tài frankly assessed CAHN as Viettel's biggest rival at present. Given the tight pursuit on the standings, this defender stated that any slip-up could come at a high cost.

“Both Viettel and CAHN have a chance to win the title. Therefore, we must cherish each match, strive to win, and continue to chase the leading team,”Tuấn Tài added.

Additionally, Viettel is facing difficulties as head coach Velizar Popov cannot directly lead due to a suspension. However, according to Tuấn Tài, this does not significantly affect the team's competitive spirit.

“Despite some challenges, the whole team was well-prepared beforehand. Coach Popov has fully conveyed the tactics, so we still maintain confidence when entering the match,”he affirmed.
