The Vietnamese women's national team ranks 37th globally on the FIFA rankings.

This ranking is calculated based on performance during participation in the 33rd SEA Games (December 14, in Thailand) and the 2026 Women's Asian Cup Finals held last March.

On the global stage, the Spanish and U.S. national teams continue to hold the top two positions on the rankings, the English team rises to third place, the German team drops to fourth, while Japan advances to fifth. The subsequent positions in the top 10 are occupied by Brazil, France, Sweden, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Currently, the FIFA rankings for women's national teams also apply a real-time update mechanism similar to the men's team rankings. Consequently, the rankings of teams can change immediately as matches are underway. The official rankings will be confirmed after all matches in the FIFA Days/FIFA Series period conclude.

The next ranking update is scheduled to be released by FIFA on June 16, 2026.
