Nine players suspended for V-League Round 20

Round 20 of the V-League will witness nine players suspended as a result of disciplinary penalties.

V-League Round 20, 2025/2026 will see a series of notable absences due to suspensions, significantly impacting the squad strength of many teams during this crucial phase of the season.

Notably, Hai Phong will be without the services of Tagueu Tadjo Diederrick Joel in their match against Hoang Anh Gia Lai on April 24th due to accumulating three yellow cards. On the same day, Hanoi FC also suffers a significant loss as defender Nguyen Thanh Chung is suspended because of a red card received in the match against Ninh Binh.

Among the teams battling to avoid relegation, PVF-CAND loses two players simultaneously: Nguyen Anh Tuan and Ha Van Viet during their away fixture against Dong A Thanh Hoa on April 25th, as both have reached the stipulated limit of yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Hong Linh Ha Tinh will also be without Nguyen Trong Hoang for their match against Ho Chi Minh City Police on April 26th due to a suspension for yellow card accumulation.

Similarly, goalkeeper Phan Van Biểu of SHB Da Nang will be absent in the clash with The Cong - Viettel due to a red card suspension. On the opposing side, The Cong - Viettel will also be missing Nguyen Duc Hoang Minh after accumulating three yellow cards.

The list of absentees extends further as Hanoi Police will be without Phan Van Duc in their match against Song Lam Nghe An, while the Nghe An-based team also loses Hoang Van Khanh due to a red card suspension.
