Prior to the clash at Hang Day Stadium, coach Totchtawan Sripan affirmed that Bangkok United had completed essential preparations, even though they are dealing with a packed fixture list.

Sharing his thoughts before the match, he said: “We have prepared well for this match. Even though there are many matches ahead and the schedule is tight, the whole team is putting in maximum effort. This is also an opportunity for us to give playing time to some players to assess their fitness and form. We only had one day to acclimatize, but both teams are playing under the same conditions, so that is not a disadvantage.”
