Coach Troussier returns to Vietnam for youth training work
Coach Troussier signed a contract with the Vietnam Football Federation in February 2023 with a 3.5-year deal with the Vietnam Football Federation. Troussier held positions in both the national team and the U23 Vietnam team.
Coach Troussier helped U23 Vietnam win the bronze medal at SEA Games 32 and qualify for the 2024 AFC U23 Championship. Troussier's Vietnam national team also started well with three friendly wins against Hong Kong (1-0), Syria (1-0), and Palestine (2-0).
In the last 6 months of Troussier's tenure, the Vietnam national team lost 7 consecutive matches, falling out of the FIFA top 100 for the first time in 4 years.
After leaving Vietnam in March 2024, Coach Troussier returned to France.
Vietnam coach leaves South American team after 1 month
Coach Nguyen Hoang Lan left the South American team Guyana after only 1 month, quickly returning to Vietnam to join the First Division Bac Ninh team for promotion to V-League.

Yesterday, Bac Ninh Club announced the appointment of Coach Nguyen Hoang Lan to replace language assistant Hoang Xuan Bach, former assistant of Coach Troussier in the Vietnam national teams.
Regarding Bac Ninh Club, assistant Nguyen Hoang Lan will support Coach Paulo Foiani in the race for 1.5 promotion spots to the First Division. Currently, Bac Ninh Club ranks 2nd in the standings.
On March 18, the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) gave him opportunities as assistant coach of the national team and head coach of the U20 team, marking a notable step forward for a Vietnamese coach internationally.
Dinh Bac ranks among top domestic scorers in V-League
After scoring twice against Da Nang, Dinh Bac showed brilliant form by scoring consecutively in the next two matches against PVF-CAND and CA TP.HCM.
In 3 matches, Dinh Bac scored 4 goals, placing him among the domestic players with the most goals in the V-League this season.
Hoang Hen (Hanoi FC) is currently the top domestic scorer with 9 goals, ranking third in the V-League scoring list this season. Following Hoang Hen are Hoang Duc (Ninh Binh) with 6 goals and Viet Cuong (Becamex TP.HCM) with 5 goals.
