Vietnam national team has already 'won' two statistics in the Southeast Asian tournament before the final match.

The 2-1 victory over Australia U17 in the semifinals not only brought Vietnam U17 into the final of the 2026 Southeast Asia U17 Championship, but also helped the red-shirt team establish the most impressive tournament statistics.

In the semifinal match on the evening of April 22, Vietnam U17 continued to demonstrate their resilience by overcoming a strong opponent, Australia. Despite conceding an early goal, Coach Roland's players fought tenaciously, scoring two consecutive goals to secure a 2-1 victory, thereby earning a spot in the final against Malaysia U17.
