CAHN Club eyes the Asian stage

On the evening of June 10, Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN) Club held a celebration ceremony after winning the LPBank V.League 2025/26. Coach Alexandre Polking's team finished the season as champions with 64 points after 26 rounds.

At the ceremony, Coach Alexandre Polking and club members received commendations from the Minister of Public Security and the Hanoi City People's Committee.

Looking ahead to the new season, CAHN Club aims to successfully defend the V.League title while preparing the squad for regional and continental competitions. The police team will participate in the ASEAN Cup and the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27.

At the celebration, Coach Polking and CAHN Club affirmed their readiness to facilitate players' flexible movement between the club and the Vietnam national team during their participation in the ASEAN Cup and AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27.

Thai Son Bac wins the first leg of the National Futsal Championship

The 1-1 draw between Sahako and Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of June 10 concluded the first half of the HDBank National Futsal Championship 2026, securing Thai Son Bac's top position on the standings.

Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City took the lead in the 10th minute thanks to a goal from foreign player Italo Henrique. However, Sahako's efforts paid off in the 36th minute when Huynh Mi Woen equalized, settling the score at 1-1.

In the earlier match, Young Ho Chi Minh City delivered an explosive performance to secure their first win of the season, defeating Luxury Ha Long 9-2.

After the first half, Thai Son Bac leads the standings with 19 points from 7 matches. Following them are Sahako with 16 points, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City with 15 points, and Saigon Titans with 13 points.

The second half of the season will begin on June 21.

Le Cong Vinh travels to Japan to study coaching

On June 14, former national team player Le Cong Vinh will go to Japan to attend a coaching course for the A license, organized by the Japan Football Association (JFA) in coordination with the AFC.

Cong Vinh's course is divided into three phases. The first phase lasts about 10 days, starting from June 16.

The second phase will take place in August and lasts about two weeks. The third phase is expected in December, lasting about 10 days.

Le Cong Vinh is the first former Vietnamese national team player to attend an A-level coaching course in Japan. He is also the first Vietnamese player to play in Japan, representing Club Consadole Sapporo.

Sharing about his study plan, Cong Vinh said: "After nearly two weeks of the first phase, I will return to Japan in August for the second phase and hope to stay a few more weeks to apply the knowledge I've learned in practice. That will greatly benefit my future work."
