VFF selects women's football talents.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), in coordination with FIFA, organized a women's football talent selection program in three regions across the country to discover and nurture promising players for the future.

On June 14, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the preliminary round for the Hanoi region took place with about 150 participants, concluding the selection process that was rolled out in Nghe An (June 10), Ho Chi Minh City (June 12), and Hanoi.

Participants were grouped by age for professional tests. The group born in 2011-2012 was assessed to supplement the national youth women's teams in the near future. The group born in 2013-2015 is seen as a reserve talent pool for younger age groups.

Those who pass the preliminary round will participate in a centralized selection phase from June 19 to 22 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. There, the players will undergo further in-depth professional tests and physical assessments before being considered for selection.
