In addition to the player roster, the coaching staff has been significantly strengthened with the addition of assistant coach Kim Do-heon.
Born in 1982, he is a former South Korean national team player with 62 caps, having participated in the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
The Vietnam national team will train in Hanoi until July 1 before departing for a training camp in South Korea from July 2 to July 14.

The squad from Nghệ An includes goalkeepers Cao Văn Bình and Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc, along with a host of experienced faces such as Lê Nguyên Hoàng, Lê Đình Long Vũ, Nguyễn Tấn Minh, Bùi Thanh Đức, Hoàng Minh Hợi, Nguyễn Trọng Tuấn, Nguyễn Quang Vinh, Nguyễn Mai Hoàng, and Phan Văn Thành. Many of them have played for Vietnam’s youth teams, including the U23 squad.
Having up to 11 players who are currently playing for the first team in the V.League, along with many others who have gained experience in the National First Division, demonstrates the strong determination of coach Phạm Anh Tuấn and his players in pursuing the highest goal at the 2026 National U21 Tournament.

Born in 1996, the player was a key figure for the Port City team under coach Chu Đình Nghiêm. With his wide-ranging mobility, solid technical foundation, and extensive V.League experience, Hữu Sơn has consistently played a significant role in Hải Phòng FC's playing style in recent seasons.
However, following the departure of coach Chu Đình Nghiêm, Hải Phòng FC's squad has undergone many changes. Several players are reportedly seeking new destinations, and Nguyễn Hữu Sơn is likely to be the next name to leave Lạch Tray Stadium.
If the deal is completed, SHB Đà Nẵng will gain a quality addition to their midfield during their preparations for the new season.
