Cai Xiaoqing officially bids farewell to Vietnamese volleyball.

The second journey of the "Volleyball Fairy" Cai Xiaoqing with XMLS Thanh Hoa has reached its conclusion.

The Chinese outside hitter - Cai Xiaoqing has officially said goodbye to Vietnamese volleyball through her latest post on her personal Instagram page.

"Every moment in Vietnam was wonderful, magical, and unforgettable. Farewell to everyone.", Cai wrote.

Recent rumors suggested Cai Xiaoqing would return to China, retire, get married, and have children. These are all inaccurate information.

This was Cai Xiaoqing's second stint playing in Vietnam, both times wearing the jersey of XMLS Thanh Hoa. Two years ago, Cai dominated the national volleyball championship and turned the Thanh region team into a fascinating phenomenon of the league.

In this return, the "Volleyball Fairy" also played exceptionally well and put in great effort but could not help Thanh Hoa secure a spot in the top 4 of the first round of the national club championship, thus missing the ticket to the Hung Vuong Cup starting on April 23.
