The international women's volleyball tournament VNL 2026 (Volleyball Nations League 2026) takes place from June 3 to July 26 across various countries, with the Final Round to be held in Macau, China, from July 22 to July 26.
The VNL 2026 preliminary round includes 18 participating teams, which are divided into different pools over three weeks of competition. Each pool plays at separate venues spanning from Asia to the Americas.
Teams compete for points using the standard system: 3 points for a 3-0/3-1 win, 2 points for a 3-2 win, and 1 point for a 2-3 loss. The top 7 teams will join host China in the finals, while the 18th-ranked team will be excluded from the 2027 season.
Italy is the reigning VNL champion, having defeated Brazil in the final. The other two top-four teams from last season were Poland and Japan.
