Set 1: Vietnam 25-11 Kyrgyzstan
A completely one‑sided set by Vietnam U18 women's volleyball against the low‑rated Kyrgyzstan. Coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's players organized an extremely tight block, reducing pressure on the back row while directly neutralizing every opponent effort. On offense, setter Huyen Trang performed with great agility, and Anh Thao clearly outclassed many teammates of the same age in experience.
Vietnam U18 continuously scored points, racing to the finish line to achieve a resounding victory in the first set.
Set 2: Vietnam 25-5 Kyrgyzstan
The one‑sided match became even more evident in set 2 as our dominance in both attack and defense completely stifled Kyrgyzstan U18's efforts. The opposing team appeared flustered, making basic errors under the immense pressure they faced.
The gap between the two sides grew wider as Anh Thao and her teammates comfortably scored points; Vietnam U18 allowed the opponents only 5 points in set 2.
Set 3: Vietnam 25-15 Kyrgyzstan
After overwhelmingly dominant performances in the first two sets and with victory essentially secured, Vietnam U18 slowed down and allowed Kyrgyzstan U18 to earn some valuable points. The points scored by the Central Asian representative in set 3 were nearly the sum of the previous two sets.
Nevertheless, the game remained completely under the control of Anh Thao and her teammates; our girls accelerated strongly from the middle of the set to secure a favorable start at this year's Southeast Asian U18 Championship.
Overall, Vietnam U18 defeated Kyrgyzstan U18 3-0 (25-11; 25-5; 25-15).
