FMVP! The pinnacle of point guards in the Finals! Thank you, Mavericks!
In Game 5 on the road, the Knicks once again came from behind to beat the Spurs 94-90, ultimately winning the championship series 4-1 to end a 53-year wait. Jalen Brunson played like a demigod, exploding for 45 points on 27 shots, and was rightfully crowned the new "King of New York." Throughout the entire Finals, Brunson averaged 32.6 points per game, a historic high for an NBA point guard, and naturally swept every vote to earn the highly coveted FMVP award.
